The name UniQplanet represents United, Union and Unique Planet. A reflection of our mission to create a place where people come together and share unique experiences.
Who we are
We are Betul & Aleyna Koc. Two sisters who as children dreamed of our own magical place. We drew alien friends in our school notebooks and fantasized about a world where everyone belonged. What once started as a game between two sisters grew into a real coffee house in the middle of Ghent.
UniQplanet is more than a business to us. It is a reminder of who we were as children, and an ode to who we have become.
And the best part is: we get to share that with you every day now.
Our vision
A world where differences do not divide, but rather connect. Where you can be yourself, with all your colors, layers, dreams and craziness.
Where it doesn't matter where you come from, what you believe or what you look like.
With us, you don't have to pretend otherwise.
We believe that this is the future.
Our approach
UniQplanet is about more than food and drink. We want to be a place where you feel welcome. Where you can unwind, experience something beautiful, and maybe even recognize something of yourself in our UniQfriends.
They are not ordinary mascots, but little stories about friendship, curiosity and daring to be yourself. Like us, they believe that being different is a beautiful thing.
Whatever you choose from our menu: everything is 100% halal. We make no exceptions to that. We pay attention to every detail, from the oils in your lunch to the toppings on your dessert. No alcohol, no pork gelatin, no hidden animal ingredients. Only carefully chosen products you can trust.
Because for us, it's not just about good food or nice atmosphere. It's about trust, about caring, about being able to sit at the table together without worries.

A piece of our youth
Every morning we lovingly bake fresh, completely vegan cookies. These cookies are inspired by the favorite recipe our mom used to make for us, a flavor that instantly brings us back to the warmth of our childhood.
To include our customers in that experience, we give such a freshly baked cookie for free with every drink. Not just as a bonus, but as a sincere invitation to taste a piece of our world.
